Shenandoah Diagnostic Center To Open October 17 | Northern Virginia Daily
October 10, 2011
The Shenandoah Diagnostic Center will have its grand opening on Oct. 17, 2011. Shenandoah Memorial's new imaging and cardio-pulmonary center will serve patients in rural Shenandoah County and the surrounding area.
The center, located in the eastern portion of Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock, Virginia, will hold all outpatient and inpatient services and be the new home for the radiology and cardiopulmonary departments.
The construction of the Center vacates space near the existing emergency department, meaning that space-crunched area will be targeted for expansion.
The diagnostic center took about two years to design and construct. The general contractor for the project is Winchester-based Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc.
